Tuesday ~~

Well, I did find a gas station that had gas this afternoon.  Was heading to Ladies Lunch and the Texaco @ Concord Mills had gas, all grades, no lines.  Filled the little gas can, so should now at least be able to get the S2000 to the gas station.
My morning was eventful.  Kyle woke up [...]

Gas??

If anyone sees a gas station that has gas in the morning, please give me a buzz or an email.  The Honda is on “E”, so I can’t travel too far, or wait in a long line — fat chance for either, huh?  I may just take the van and bring the 5 gallon gas [...]

Productive Saturday ~~

Well, we decided not to go to the cabin yesterday.  The weather was rainy and not expected to clear up until later today.  Also, with the current gas situation, we opted to conserve the fuel we have in the van.   It’s been crazy here since Wednesday last week.  Just about every station has been out [...]

Ironic ~~

Earlier in the week, I blogged about my ‘dislike’ for my DSL service through Windstream.  Funny thing, I had a voice mail on my business line this morning from a Windstream person (who did speak English very clearly), who wanted to discuss the situation.  It appears that the “Windstream surfers” must surf the web for unhappy [...]

Test Results ~~

Just a quick follow-up to my blog last week about some tests that Lonnie was having.  I realized tonite after my father-in-law called to inquire about the results that I asked for your prayers, but left y’all hanging.   The good news is no cancer in Lonnie’s thyroid, however, there are nodules growing that are giving [...]

Saturday Stuff ~~

I love Saturdays, especially where there are no big plans for the day.  It was nice to sleep in today ~ the only day we get to. Had a great day yesterday, and it was nice to just sit and hang out on the couch last night. Jen heads back to New York tomorrow.  I [...]

Fun Night ~~

Most Thursdays nights, you will find the Batemans @ Mexicasa.  After Kyle’s guitar lesson with Brandon, we head there and enjoy some awesome fellowship with the Lyman family.  Tonite we decided to head to University City and hit Boardwalk Billy’s.   It was a good change of pace, as my niece, Jen, does not really like [...]
