Please keep my Brother’s wife, Denise, in your prayers. She had a stroke yesterday. She had emergency surgery last night to clear the blood vessel to her brain where an apparent blood clot had lodged. The right side of her brain was deprived of oxygen for many hours. The procedure was successful, however, the surgeon does not yet know how her body has been affected. She has been sedated, and is currently on a breathing tube. She is undergoing many tests today (MRI, CT-Scan) to determine the extent of the damage. When she awoke briefly this morning, Bob said it appeared she had no use of her left side.
She obviously will have a long road to recovery ahead of her. Please also pray for my brother, Bob, and their 14-year-old daughter Kaity, who is just devastated right now. As I get information on her condition, I will post it here on my blog.
